A CHINESE restaurant in Sydney’s west accused of having rotten meat and food prepared in a rat- and cockroach-infested kitchen is still serving customers. Best 1 Barbecue, at Burwood, was slapped with eight health defect notices by the NSW Food Authority seven weeks ago, in addition to infringement notices issued by Burwood Council. We had a week between Monster and Prison Break and I used that to break some news to our church. It actually was a great teaching moment on the practical side of what it really means to follow God. I explained the process I personally went through regarding my struggles after my illness and surgery and ultimately deciding it was in the best interest of my family and our church for me to go back to work. According to an article in the Daily Press -- http://www.dailypress.com/news... -- Kenny Alexander, Delegate from Norfolk, is apparently leaning against running for Lieutenant Governor. Jon Bowerbank, a businessman from Southwest Virginia, is being talked about instead. So that would leave us with 3 white male Democrats to run against 3 white male Republicans? Eeeesh.

New York Report American Airlines got their act together in time for my flight here Thursday. The plane took off on time and landed darn close to the scheduled hour. What's more, they actually managed to have my luggage on board...so no problems there.
